Background documentation Special Actions in the Language Transport  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Importing languages into a system is a standard procedure for all customers who want to use a range of languages in their SAP system, and is described in detail in the sections above.

The following information is aimed at customers and SAP partners who have special language management requirements.

Customers who use the translation environment to translate missing texts, or to customize existing texts with their own terminology, need to distribute these changes within their system landscape.

To do this, you can use the transaction SMLT_EX to group the translations of object lists (or the entire system) in a language package, which you can then import into other systems with transaction SMLT.
