The internal activity quantities provided are entered and allocated in direct internal activity allocation (in Cost Center Accounting and Activity-Based Costing). Activity is allocated, for example, when work activities are confirmed. The system credits the activity sender with sum of the quantity provided multiplied by the plan price. It debits the receiving object accordingly.

You repost internal activity allocations to adjust any incorrect postings from the internal activity allocation.

Sender activity is entered if the receiver is unknown (indirectly allocable) or a receiver does not exist (not allocable).

• You enter indirect allocable activity to determine the quantity flow for indirect activity allocation. In indirect activity allocation, the activity quantity is distributed to the receiver cost centers according to their allocation bases.
• You enter non-allocable activity on cost centers or business processes that cannot be credited using activity allocation. The R/3 System uses the plan activity and the non-allocable activity to calculate an operating rate. It can then determine target costs and variances for the cost center.

Independently of the actual price determination, you can also enter an actual price manually for an activity type on a cost center or for a business process. In this way, you can change prices without changing the planning. This can be overwritten at a later date when the actual price has been determined.
