To enable a default report to be displayed on the home page of a business role, enter the logical link of the report that you want to display by default as a value for the DASHBOARD_ON_HOMEPAGE function profile . Then, you need to add the DASHBOARD_ON_HOMEPAGE function profile to your business role.

To make the Dashboards content block available in the home page personalization, you have added the UI component WCF_DASHBOARD to the view set of the home page using the UI Component Workbench. To do this, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the UI Component Workbench by using the transaction code BSP_WD_CMPWB.

  2. Open the UI component where your home page resides, and open the Runtime Repository Editor.

  3. Add <usage.Name>.WCF_DASHBOARD/MainWindow as a view in your home page view set.

If you wish to add more than one content block, you have to repeat these steps and use a different title for the content block.

To display the Dashboard content block on the home page, you have to add the content block to the displayed content blocks in the page configuration.
