Features

Customer Validations on Changes to the Multi-Level Budget Structure

You can now carry out validations when moving or deleting nodes in the transaction Process Multi-Level Budget Structure (FMHIE_CHANGE). The existing Business Add-In (BAdI) BADI_FMHIE_INSERT_CHECK defined for the enhancement spot FMHIE_INSERT_CHECK has been enhanced.

Support of Document Types with Rollup in BCS Mass Transactions

You can now define in which mass transactions a document type with rollup is supported. When the use of a document with rollup is allowed in a mass transaction, automatic budget lines are created along the MBS upwards, starting from the budget address, where the budget is entered, to the top node of the MBS.

Budget Rollup and Budget Distribution in Multiple Budget Entry (FMPEP)

With this feature, you can do the following:

  • Use the Distribution process in transaction FMPEP to distribute budget in the MBS

  • Use document types with rollup in transaction FMPEP for bottom-up budget distribution in the MBS

Exporting or Importing the Multi-Level Budget Structure

You can now export an MBS to an external data file and import an MBS from an external data file. This means that, if you are running several systems and want to have the same MBS in each of them, it is not necessary to start from scratch in each one. You can simply export it from a system where it already exists to an external file, then import it from there to the other systems where you need it.

Adjustment of Multi-Level Budget Type

You can now structure a budget document by budget types, thereby associating a budget type with each level within the hierarchy when distributing budget or entering budget on a lower level.
