Business Package for PLM Web User Interface |
Customizing for the Web UI of SAP PLM can be found under
.In status management, you define status schemes that contain all available statuses and status transitions.
Recipe Development offers you the following functions:
Web-based interface for creating, displaying, and changing recipes
Consistency check that you can use to check a recipe at any time during the development process
Calculations that the system performs based on the ingredients contained in the recipe
For example, you can define calculations that determine the nutrients or costs produced when a recipe is made. You can display the calculation results at any time in Recipe Development.
PDF-based print forms
Explosion log that contains the steps the system carried out during the recipe explosion
In the specification management you create, for example, specifications for the input and output substances used in the recipe (see Specification Management (EHS-BD-SPE)).
Here you create and manage label sets that you can use, for example, to create print templates for labels.
Recipe Development is integrated in the PLM Web user interface (PLM Web UI). The following functions are available:
Work center and control center
The central point of entry is the personalized work center and control center which provide an overview of the objects relevant to your work, such as the objects in your favorites list or in your worklist. A work center is available for recipes, specifications, and labels; from here you can call these objects and the corresponding applications.
Search
The search in the PLM Web UI enables you to search for objects by certain attributes, texts, or classification characteristics. You can navigate straight to the objects from the search result.
Object Navigator
The object navigator (CA-EPT-NAV) allows you to display each object with its relationships with other objects and navigate to linked objects.
Authorization concept (see Authorizations and Access Control Context (PLM-WUI-APP-ACC))
Note
Collaboration via the internet without direct access to the back-end system with a demilitarized zone outside the company's own firewall is not supported.
You also use this business function to activate Guided Structure Synchronization (GSS) for recipes (see Guided Structure Synchronization (GSS)). You can use this to create or update a material BOM from a recipe (see Synchronizing a Recipe with a Manufacturing BOM).
For more information, see SAP Library under Recipe Development (PLM-WUI-RCP)).
