Live Rates Posting to Funds Management
You use the report Live Rates Posting to Funds Management
(RCRM_FM_LRTP_POSTING_TO_FM
) to post budget amounts calculated from live rates planning to
funds management. When you run this report, the system posts performance budget amounts and additional fund budget amounts as budget postings.
You have activated the business function Claims and Funds Management (CRM_CF_1
).
You have completed the activities in Customizing under .
You have run the report Fund Determination for Live Rates
(RCRM_FM_LRTP_FUND_DETERMINE
) to identify the funds to post calculated budget amounts to.
Funds must be in status Preliminary
or Released.
The live rates plan must be in status Approved
and the live rates planning elements must be in status Completed Planning
.
The system posts the following budget amounts to funds management:
The system calculates these amounts from values that you enter in key figure planning for live rates. The system posts amounts to the funds displayed in the Additional Fund Budget
assignment
block and uses the mapping of key figures to fund types defined in Customizing.
Note
The system may post live rates amounts from various planning combinations of account hierarchy node and product category or product to the same fund. These amounts are aggregated.
When the system posts these amounts, it creates budget updates that populate the Budget
and Performance Budget Update
key figures.
The system posts the amounts as deltas.
You can post lump sum amounts to a fund without using the budget posting application in funds management.
You can manually add budget amounts for a fund in the Additional Fund Budget
assignment block of a live rates planning element. You can add positive and negative amounts.
When the system posts these amounts, it creates budget updates that populate the Budget
key figure in the funds checkbook.
The system posts the amounts as absolute values. The field is reset to zero after you post an amount.
You define the selection criteria and schedule the report Live Rates Posting to Funds Management
(RCRM_FM_LRTP_POSTING_TO_FM
) to run as a background job from or from the Job Scheduler
(SM36

There are many ways to define how to post calculated budget amounts from live rates into funds management. The following examples illustrate several possibilities:
You can post live rates budget for all planning combinations of account hierarchy node and product category or product into one fund or into multiple funds based on specific fund types for the various key figures in the planning layout.

You can post lump sum amounts to a fund without using the budget posting application in funds management by doing the following:
You add an additional fund budget amount of 10 000 to a fund.
You run the report Live Rates Posting to Funds Management
(RCRM_FM_LRTP_POSTING_TO_FM
). This results in a budget posting of 10 000.
After you run the report, the value in the assignment block is reset to zero.
You then assign a new value of 2 000 to the same fund.
You run the report again. A new budget posting of 2 000 is posted to the fund and the amount in the assignment block is reset to zero.
