Configuring the Sorting of Dynamic Navigation iViews 

Use

By default, dynamic navigation iViews are sorted according to an internal logic based on multiple criteria. The procedure below configures the iViewsSrv service to use the PCD name of dynamic navigation iViews as the sort parameter.

Procedure

       1.      Go to System Administration ® System Configuration ® Service Configuration.

       2.      In the Portal Catalog, expand Applications ® com.sap.portal.ivs.iviewservice ® Services.

       3.      Double-click iViewsSrv and in the displayed Property Editor change the value of the property dynamic.navigation.sorting.old to true.

       4.      Click Save and restart the server to effect the change.

¡        To return to the default configuration, click Restore Default before restarting the server.

Result

When you assign iViews to a page as dynamic navigation links, the iViews appear according to their PCD ID.
