Locale Service Properties
The portal supports the translation of its UI text strings from its default language to any language supported by the locale service. The locale service properties determine what languages comprise the master language list, to which languages the UI strings may be translated, and which languages are available for translation to users logged on to the portal as anonymous users.
This section describes how to access and edit these properties, using the Service Configuration Editor, to add or remove languages.
To add a language using the Service Configuration Editor, translations to that language must exist in the resource bundle of the relevant portal applications.
