This function allows you to create and update marketing prospects after external data is successfully mapped to SAP standard structures. You create marketing prospects and simultaneously assign marketing attributes to them.

This function is applicable only for high-volume data.

Prerequisites

You have executed the Read File and Map Data steps, or selected the steps for execution. Also, marketing prospect has to be selected as the mapping format.

Activities

  • To execute this step, select the Create Marketing Prospects option in the Process Steps assignment block and set the start data.

  • Errors occurring during the execution of the Create Marketing Prospects step are logged. If errors are logged, the traffic light next to Create Marketing Prospects is red and a hyperlink is available. Error details can be viewed by clicking this hyperlink.
