Setting a Default Property Category 

Use

When the property editor opens, the property category displayed by default is Information. You can change this default property category for iViews and pages. If you set a new default category for an iView or page template, all objects based on that template open to the same property category. You can also set a default property category for specific iViews and pages.

Procedure

       1.      In the portal catalog, locate the object whose default property category you want to change, and open the Property Editor for this object.

       2.      In the Information property category, locate the Default Property Category property.

       3.      Select the relevant property category from the dropdown list.

       4.      Choose Save.
