Adding Tooltips to Navigation Nodes 

Use

You can add tooltips to navigation nodes. The tooltips appear when the user hovers the cursor over the navigation node in the following locations:

·        Top-level navigation

·        Detailed navigation

·        Workset maps

·        Service maps

·        Object editor tabs in the administration environment

The tooltips do not appear in accessibility mode.

Procedure

       1.      From the Portal Catalog, open the Property Editor for the object to which you want to add a tooltip.

       2.      From the Property Category dropdown list, choose Navigation.

       3.      Locate the Tooltip for the Navigation Node property and enter the tooltip text.

       4.      Click Save.
