Background documentationUsing Charts in Tables

You can use bar charts and pie charts to view table-based result lists and assignment blocks in SAP CRM.

Prerequisites

You have installed version 9 of the Adobe® Flash® Player on your computer.

Integration

In the standard delivery, charts are enabled in result lists and in assignment blocks.

Features

You can open the chart by clicking the Open Chart icon, if the function is enabled, in the toolbar of assignment blocks and result lists. You can select the column that you want to view in the chart and choose between a pie chart or a bar chart. You can use the zoom function, including zoom in and zoom out.

If you click the title of the column that you have selected, in the table, you can filter this column. The chart is updated, and the corresponding bar or pie section is highlighted in the chart. If you click and filter another column, the table and the chart are updated again.

If you click a pie section in the pie chart or a bar in the bar chart, this section is highlighted and the corresponding entry in the legend is highlighted by a frame. In both cases, the table is filtered according to the pie section or the bar that you have selected in the chart.

Note Note

If no chart appears when you click the Open Chart icon, you can open the context menu and choose Play.

End of the note.
