Function documentationProcessing Actions Using the Application Toolbar (SAP GUI)

When processing transactions using the SAP Graphical User Interface (SAP GUI), you can schedule or start actions directly in the application toolbar.

Prerequisites

You have selected the indicator Display in Toolbox in the action definition in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under Start of the navigation path Basic Functions Next navigation step Actions Next navigation step Actions in ... Next navigation step Change Actions and Conditions Next navigation step Define Action Profiles and Actions End of the navigation path, and you have not selected Schedule Automatically.

The schedule condition must have been fulfilled for an action to be displayed in the application toolbar.

Activities

  1. Open a business transaction (transaction CRMD_ORDER).

You see a list of inactive actions at the header and position level, whose schedule conditions have been fulfilled.

  2. Choose an action to activate it.

The action is scheduled (that is, activated and appears in the action list).

The system starts the action when the start condition has been fulfilled, depending on the predefined processing time stored in Customizing. For more information, see Processing Time.

Note Note

If you have preset the processing time for an action as Immediate, the system triggers the action as soon as it has been activated in the application toolbar, provided that the start condition is fulfilled.

End of the note.
