The file-export function enables you to create a file with a list of business partners and corresponding specified attribute values. You can use this file for further processing, for example, to send to a lettershop for printing prior to sending as direct mail.

Features

  • Flexible definition of content

    You create a mail form with the usage File Export. You can enter attributes and text.

    Each line in the text element corresponds to a separate field in the file. By combining attributes on the same line, you create a field with multiple attribute values. Empty rows are ignored.

    Note Note

    For file export, the mail form can exist in one language only.

    The system replaces multiple spaces between attributes and text with a single space.

  • Choice of file formats

    You can save the list in the following file formats:

    • Comma-separated values (CSV)

    • Extensible Markup Language (XML)

You assign the exported file to a campaign. To define the business partners that are listed in the file, you select a target group or number of target groups.
