In this example, you deploy your iView, then fine-tune the layout and deploy again.

Prerequisites

You have created your query, configured the output port with a chart, and the model is open in Storyboard.

Procedure

  1. Before you deploy, make sure your runtime is set to Adobe Flash format:

    1. From the Main Menu, choose   Tools   Options  .

    2. Select the Compiler tab, and from the Runtime dropdown box, select Flash.

    3. Click OK.

  2. Go to the Deploy Model task panel, and click Deploy.

The model is compiled and deployed to the portal to which you are connected.

  3. View the runtime version of your model by clicking Run "Top_and_bottom_three", under the Deployed successfully message in the Deploy to Portal task panel:

Running the Model (Running the Model)

The model looks something like this:

The Runtime Model (The Runtime Model)

  4. Adjust the layout of the chart:

Back in Visual Composer, scale the chart so that you can read it better. On the Layout tab, click the lower-right corner of the chart container and drag it to the right and down, to be larger.

  5. Save the model and re-deploy it using the Deploy Model (Deploy Model) button:

Result

When you view your deployed chart again, it is larger and more readable. Check out the interactive features of the Adobe Flash chart by hovering over a point in the data series with your mouse to see detailed information about that point in the series:
