Data Mapping

A connection between two model components, describing, for example, what data is input to an element or what fields are output from another element. This type of connection requires mapping of the data fields from the input element to the fields of the data service.

When you drag out from the input port of a data service in order to create the input element, the fields are mapped automatically.

Structure

The following table describes the properties and attributes of this model element:

Data Mapping	Event name		The name of the action that raises the event for transferring the data to the data service
	Guard condition		An expression indicating the condition that must be satisfied in order for the event to be activated

		Selected data rows	Transfers to the data service only table rows selected by the user
	Line style	Straight	Direct 45-degree line with no corners
