Product Proposals in Sales Transactions
This function enables you to display product proposals in quotations and sales orders. This allows you to offer your customers products that they may be interested in, while you enter quotations and sales orders. You can thereby boost the sale of certain products, and extend your scope in sales negotiations, since these product proposals factor in special knowledge about the respective customer.
This function is integrated with the Product Proposals

From the product proposal list, you can select individual products, and transfer them to the item list.
The system displays the product proposals for the current items. If you change the header data (sold-to party and sales area) or the item list when you process the sales transaction, then the product proposals change as well (depending on your settings in Customizing).
In the Product Proposal
assignment block, you can show and hide individual product proposal types. For example, you can display just the accessories for a product. You can use the All
button to switch the filter off again, and display all of the product proposal types.
You can perform an availability check for product proposals, for which the system uses the requested delivery date at header level.
You can display the associated prices for the product proposals. The following options are available for pricing:
The prices are transferred from a price list.
In this case, the displayed price corresponds to the price for each base unit, which is delivered from the price list. The system carries out comprehensive pricing only when the product is transferred to the sales order. This means that the price displayed with the product proposal can differ from the final price. For more information, see Price Lists.
