Testing a Service 

Use

You can test whether a service is called correctly using the Web Service Navigator. The results are displayed after the query has been sent.

Prerequisites

You have created a service definition.

You have set up the Web Service Navigator with the help of the SOA Manager (transaction SOAMANAGER). For more information, refer to the section Setting Up WS Navigator.

Procedure

In the Object Navigator (transaction SE80) choose the pushbutton Start Web Service Navigator. For more information, refer to the section Testing a Web Service in the Web Services Navigator.

Web services that are based on a function module, a function group, a BAPI, or an XI message interface can be checked in the Object Navigator using Test (F8). Select the i pushbutton in the test tool for more information.
