This workflow makes it possible to automatically start postprocessing business transactions in SAP CRM. This is relevant if the transaction type used is activated for postprocessing.

Prerequisites

You have activated the type linkage for the event Status To be postprocessed (POSTPROCESSINGSTATUSSET) for workflow WS10000041.

Process

This workflow is triggered if a transaction was saved for which asynchronous postprocessing has to be executed.

The following functions are executed during postprocessing:

  • Update of pricing document as a result of group processing (after partial document processing)

  • Trigger transfer to SAP R/3, this means creation of the corresponding BDoc

  • Update order index

  • Generation or update of billing due list items (only relevant for financing contracts)

  • Classification determination (only relevant for financing contracts)

Workflow Template

The actual business procedure is implemented in the workflow template WS10001011 (CRM_POSTPROC).

Triggering Events for the Workflow Template

The event Status set For Postprocessing (POSTPROCESSINGSTATUSSET) for object type BUS20001 (business transaction) is entered as the triggering event of the workflow template. This event is triggered if a business transaction is saved and its transaction type has asynchronous postprocessing for the corresponding number of items.
