Tasks

By assigning one or more tasks to a solution of a given solution type, you can describe the actions necessary to resolve a problem.

Each task is identified by a code. Each code is assigned to a code group that is contained in a catalog.

Your system administrator has defined:

The tasks catalog containing the codes and code groups. This is done in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management, by choosing Enterprise Intelligence Solution Database Basic Data Catalog Maintenance Define Catalogs .
The codes and code groups. This is done in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management, by choosing Enterprise Intelligence Solution Database Basic Data Catalog Maintenance Define Code Groups and Codes for Catalogs .
The task catalog to be used for solutions of a given solution type. This is done in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management, by choosing Enterprise Intelligence Solution Database Solutions Define Solution Types . As a result, the solution type determines which code groups and codes can be assigned to a solution of this solution type.
You have specified a solution type when maintaining the solution.

Access solution maintenance (see Solution Database).
Check that you have specified a solution type and pressed Enter.
Choose Add Tasks and, in the dialog box that appears, select the relevant tasks and choose Enter. The tasks assigned to the solution are displayed in the tree structure.
