Background documentation Exposing iViews for WSRP Application Sharing Usage  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

In WSRP application sharing mode, the content administrator on the producer portal can expose iViews only.

For this content sharing mode, the content administrator on the NetWeaver producer needs to consider if their consumer portals are non-SAP, NetWeaver, or both. This will determine which set of permissions need to be assigned to iViews on the producer in order to expose them.

For detailed information, see:

·        Exposing WSRP iViews on the Producer for NetWeaver Consumers

·        Exposing WSRP iViews on the Producer for Non-SAP Consumers

Caution

WSRP content you expose on the producer is still needed after a consumer has created the corresponding proxy-to-portlet iViews. If not, the proxy-to-portlet iViews will fail at runtime on the consumer.
