Background documentationPersonalizing Tables

You personalize tables in the Personalization dialog, which you open by using the Personalize icon, for example, on the right in the title bar of the result list.

Activities

Specifying the Maximum Number of Rows per Page

You can define the maximum number of rows that should be displayed on each page of a table.

Showing or Hiding Columns

You can determine which columns should be displayed in the table.

  1. In Available Columns, select the columns that you want to display in the table.

  2. Move the selected columns from Available Columns to Displayed Columns, using the arrow key.

  3. Click Save to save your personalization and return to the page before, for example, the search page.

Changing the Sequence of Columns

In Displayed Columns, you can define the sequence of the columns in the table. You can use Up and Down to position the columns.

Note Note

You can also position the columns in tables, for example in the result list, quickly and easily by using drag and drop. This function is not active if you have specified in the central personalization that you want to waive some user interface functions, as well as some visual effects, in favor of better performance.

Defining the Column Width

You can define the column width of the individual columns, in relation to the total width. You can specify the absolute width in pixels, and the relative width in percent. If the entry in pixels exceeds the width of the window, a horizontal scroll bar is automatically displayed.

If you enter a number without a unit of measurement, the system automatically calculates the column width in pixels. If you want relative column widths, enter the unit of measurement %.
