You can create campaigns on the WebClient UI using sales documents (that is, quotations and sales orders) from SAP ERP. For more information about campaigns, see Campaign Management. For more information about quotations and sales orders in SAP ERP, see SAP Library for SAP ERP on SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com/erpInformation published on SAP site. Choose a release. Prerequisites

You have made settings in both the SAP ERP back end and the SAP CRM back end, as follows:

SAP ERP Back End
  • You have defined an access sequence for campaigns by choosing Maintain Access Sequences in Customizing for SAP ERP under Start of the navigation path Sales and Distribution Next navigation step Basic Functions Next navigation step Pricing Next navigation step Pricing Control Next navigation step Define Access Sequences End of the navigation path.

  • You have defined a condition type for campaigns by choosing Maintain Condition Types in Customizing for SAP ERP under Start of the navigation path Sales and Distribution Next navigation step Basic Functions Next navigation step Pricing Next navigation step Pricing Control Next navigation step Define Condition Types End of the navigation path.

  • You have defined and assigned a pricing procedure by choosing Maintain Pricing Procedures and Define Pricing Procedure Determination in Customizing for SAP ERP under Start of the navigation path Sales and Distribution Next navigation step Basic Functions Next navigation step Pricing Next navigation step Pricing Control Next navigation step Define and Assign Pricing Procedures End of the navigation path.

  • You have maintained an access sequence, a condition type, a determination procedure, and have activated campaign determination in Customizing for SAP ERP under Start of the navigation path Integration with Other SAP Components Next navigation step Customer Relationship Management Next navigation step Basic Functions Next navigation step Campaign Determination End of the navigation path.

  • You have defined data exchange conditions in Customizing for SAP ERP under Start of the navigation path Integration with Other SAP Components Next navigation step Customer Relationship Management Next navigation step Basic Functions Next navigation step Data Exchange Conditions End of the navigation path.

SAP CRM Back End
  • You have downloaded your settings in SAP ERP (that is, settings for access sequence, condition type, pricing procedure, and conditions) to SAP CRM (transaction R3AS; load object DNL_CUST_CNDALL).

  • You have defined condition techniques for campaign management in a dedicated maintenance group in Customizing for SAP CRM under Start of the navigation path Customer Relationship Management Next navigation step Master Data Next navigation step Conditions and Condition Technique Next navigation step Condition Technique: Basics Next navigation step Create Maintenance Group End of the navigation path.

  • You have set up data exchange for conditions (that is, upload to SAP ERP). This allows you to enter campaign determination and campaign dependent conditions, which the system replicates to SAP ERP. You use the Marketing Professional (MARKETINGPRO) business role on the WebClient UI.
