Translation
You can use the Application Enhancement Tool to translate field labels of custom fields and entries in custom dropdown list boxes.
Prerequisites
You have enabled the configuration mode in the general settings on the central personalization page of SAP CRM.
Activities
You have started the Application Enhancement Tool in the application in which you want to translate field labels and entries in dropdown list boxes.
Translating Field Labels
You can enter the edit mode by clicking Edit List
in the Custom Fields
block. To enter the Translation
screen, click Translate
. You can select additional languages for
translation by clicking System Languages
.
You can also translate in the Translation
block in the field details which you can start by clicking the enhancement ID in the Custom Fields
block.
Translating Entries in Dropdown List Boxes
You can enter the edit mode by clicking Edit List
in the Custom Fields
block. Select a dropdown list box in the Custom Fields
block. To enter the Translation
screen, click Translate
.
If you want to select additional languages for translation, click System Languages
.
You can also translate in the Translatio
n block in the field details, which you can start by clicking the enhancement ID in the Custom Fields
block.
