CRM Interactive Reporting
New custom fields can be made available for CRM interactive reporting. This depends on the enhanced business object and its business object parts.
To use CRM interactive reporting, you need authorization role CRM Operative Reporting User Role (SAP_CRM_OR_USER) in the Business Intelligence (BI) client and in the CRM client. To make custom fields in CRM interactive reporting available, you need authorization role Activation of CRM OLTP Reporting InfoTypes (SAP_CRM_OR_ACTIVATE) in the Business Intelligence (BI) client.

All data types except Text with small and capital letters

If you select Characteristic
or Key Figure
as the CRM interactive reporting type in the CRM Interactive Reporting
field in the Custom Fields
block, these fields are automatically
made available in the search criteria and in the result list for enhanced business objects.
You cannot change between Characteristic
and Key Figure
, and vice versa. However, as a workaround you can first choose Not Used
and in a second step, choose Characteristic
or Key
Figure
.
The field length of custom fields that are used in CRM interactive reporting is restricted to 60 characters.
CRM interactive reporting is locally generated, which means that if enhancements that are relevant for CRM interactive reporting are transported to another system, these enhancements are not visible in CRM interactive reporting in the target system. This means that you need to generate the
enhancements locally in the target system. To generate enhancements locally in the target system, you can use report AXT_EXT_ACTIVATE_LOCAL
.
