CM Store: Content Crawler 

Use

You must run this report after changing the persistence mode of a CM repository from DB to DBFS to transfer the documents from the database to the file system.

 

Prerequisites

You have changed the persistence mode of a CM repository from DB to DBFS and restarted the portal.

There is enough free disk space on the server that the documents in the database are to be transferred to.

 

Features

You can configure the following settings for this report.

Parameter	Description
Location	Specifies the CM repository for which you changed the persistence mode from DB to DBFS.
Maximum Results	The system terminates the search when it has found the corresponding number of resources. The entry -1 signifies no limitation.

 

Activities

 

You cannot undo the data migration once you have completed it.

       1.      Navigate to the system administration reports. Choose System Administration ® System Configuration ® Knowledge Management ® Content Management ® Related Topics ® System Administration Reports in the portal.

       2.      Choose the CM Store: Content Crawler report.

       3.      Choose Start.

       4.      Enter a name for the report.

       5.      In the Location parameter, choose the repository for which you have changed the persistence mode from DB to DBFS.

       6.      The entry for the Maximum Results parameter must be -1.

       7.      Choose Start to start the transfer of the documents from the database to the file system.
