Not Recommended and Obsolete Integration Techniques Locate this document in the navigation structure

 

For historical reasons, forms can exist which were created based on obsolete integration technologies. There are also special cases which are only for SAP internal use.

  • ACF-based forms.

    The integration of ACF-based PDF forms in Web Dynpro ABAP is deprecated. See also SAP Note 1249189

    We expressly recommend only implementing ZCI forms with XML interfaces.

    New Adobe standard objects are now only available for ZCI (Native) based forms.

  • Forms with ABAP Dictionary-based interfaces can only be used as print forms.

  • We do not recommend binding the pdfSource for interactive forms and it is unreliable for ZCI-based forms (PDF-only scenario)
