Select Data type.
Enter a name that begins with Z and click create.
Enter a short description for your structure.
Add all necessary fields.
Click Append Structure... and append the newly-created structure to the structure CRMS_MKTPL_CAU_INC.
Activate both structures.
In Customizing for Customer Relationship Management, choose .
Select each new field and maintain values for the field.
In Customizing for Customer Relationship Management, choose .
Create a new causal factor type and add the new field.
Copy the standard-delivered causal factor profile to create a new profile and add the new causal factor type to the new profile.
In Customizing for Customer Relationship Management, choose .
Maintain the new profile with the relevant marketing type and sales organization combination.
Note
Enhancing the user interface (UI) is only required for trade promotion management (TPM), and not for market development fund (MDF) initiatives.
Go to the BSP WD Component Workbench (transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB).
Display the causal factor UI component MKTPRJ_CAUSAL. If you have created a new component for causal factors, display this instead.
Choose and go to the Configuration tab.
Click New Configuration and maintain the following attributes:

If you have changed the component usage name in the TPMOE component, use this name instead of the one above.
Maintain the same values for the component usages CUMktprj_Causal_PRD and CUMktprj_Causal_PRG.
