Procedure documentation Setting-up the Commission Application Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

Use this procedure to create the application settings for the new package created by the previous procedure.

Prerequisites

You have created the new application package and established the RFC destination from CRM to ICM.

Procedure

       1.      In the Implementation Guide (IMG) for the Commission System, select the following path to install the Commission Application:

Commissions à Application Administration à General Settings à Installation of Commission Application à Name Commission Application.

Your entry must begin with Y or Z.

Once complete, you have named you application.

       2.      In the Implementation Guide (IMG) for the Commission System, select the following path to select the application package:

Commissions à Application Administration à General Settings à Installation of Commission Application à Select Packages.

...

                            a.      Select the commission application you created in the previous step.

                            b.      From the Package Pool list, select the appropriate packages and move them to the Application Packages list.

You must select packages CACS00 and CRM001 for use within the CRM Pre-configuration. If you are implementing settlement from ICM you will need to select additional packages.

                            c.      Choose Save and enter $TMP or the new development package you created into the Development Package pop-up window.

You can return to Select Packages to add additional packages at any time.

                            d.      Once complete you have created the application package.

       3.      In the Implementation Guide (IMG) for the Commission System, select the following path to copy cross-client customizing from the template:

                            a.      Enter the commission application you created in a previous step.

                            b.      Once completed, the system copies the business object listed below to the selected packages to your commission application.

       4.      In the Implementation Guide (IMG) for the Commission System, select the following path to generate the commission application:

                            a.      Enter the application packages you created in step 1.

This process can take several minutes.

                            c.      Once completed, you have generated the commission application.

       5.      In the Implementation Guide (IMG) for the Commission System, select the following path to assign the application to a client:

Commissions à Application Administration à General Settings à Release Commission Applications for Clients.

...

                            a.      Select an application created in step 1.

                            b.      Assign the designated clients for which the commission application will be available.

                            c.      Once completed, you have assigned the application to a client.

       6.      In the Implementation Guide (IMG) for the Commission System, select the following path to copy client specific customizing from the template:

                            a.      Enter the application packages you created in step 1.

This process can take several minutes.

                            c.      Once completed, you have copied the client specific customizing from the template.

       7.      You can optionally add additional CRM fields for use within ICM. In the Implementation Guide (IMG) for the Commission System, select the following path to integrate CRM specific fields into the ICM application:

You see the:

§         CRM structure in the left pane with the relevant fields for the commission calculation

§         The newly created commission application in the right pane.

If you add fields to the commission application, you must also add them to the customer enhancement within the CRM configuration for the ICM interface so that CRM sends over these additional fields.

If you add additional CRM fields for use within ICM and later re-generate your commission application you will have to add additional CRM fields for use within ICM again as the generation process restores the original settings based off the selected packages.

You perform the next step only if using the supplied CRM-ICM pre-configuration for a system running SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.70 with mySAP Financials Extension 1.1 SP09.

       8.      You must remove the industry sector field from the DOCRE structure within ICM for your commission application in order to successfully return commission calculations. In the Implementation Guide (IMG) for the Commission System, select the following path to adjust the commission application construction:

                            a.      Enter the application package you want to change (from those installed in step 1).

                            b.      Locate the structure to be changed, under Commission Document à DB Document à Commission Document Header à Commission Document Header:

YCRMXX_DOCRE (where YCRMXX represents your commission application).

                            c.      Expand the YCRMXX_DOCRE structure and locate the industry sector field (with the Technical Name INDUSTRY) to be removed from the structure.

                            d.      Execute transaction se11 to change view YCRMXX_V_HD_RE

Delete the Industry field from the view and activate. 

                            e.      Execute transaction se11 to change table YCRMXX_DOCRE

Delete the Industry field from the view and activate. 

                              f.      Once you have removed the field in the IMG execute the transactionse11 and view structure/data type TCACS_DESFIELDS. This will display the structures associated with the application. The RELPOS field must also be adjusted reflect the deletion of this field.

Result

You have created the application settings for the new CRM-ICM commission application.
