Setting Up Current Product Recommendations 

Use

This function allows you to offer best seller products to all customers who enter your Web shop, irrespective of the target group that they belong to.

Using a global target group as reference, certain products are proposed and presented in the form of a top-n product list. All Web Shop customers and visitors belong to the global target group.

Top n lists either be generated automatically from the Business Information Warehouse (BW) or maintained manually (permanent top n list).

Procedure

Create a target group....

       1.      Create a target group.

In the SAP Easy Access Menu, choose Customer Relationship Management → Marketing → Segmentation →Segment Builder.

       2.      Create a Top n Product list.

In the SAP Easy Access Menu, choose Customer Relationship Management → Marketing → Segmentation → Product Proposals → Maintain Top n Products.

       3.      Assign target group to Web shop.

In the Shop Management application a enter the target group in the Target Group field on the Marketing tab page.
