Settings for Planning for Key Accounts 
You make the following settings to implement Planning for Key Accounts Using SAP BI.

As of BI Content 3.5.2 Add-On, planning content is provided for Planning for Key Accounts.
Make sure that the following master data is available in SAP BI with the correct specifications:

The external BI hierarchy CP_PLAN_PROD is delivered for deriving the characteristic product (0CRM_PROD). You can use this hierarchy or copy existing hierarchies to it. The same applies for the external BI hierarchy CP_PLAN_CUST (for the characteristic Business Partner Group Hierarchy (0BP_GRP)).
In the SAP BI-BPS planning services, choose Hierarchy Derivation ® External BI Hierarchy ® Derivation of Product Category Hierarchy or Derivation of Business Partner Group Hierarchy.
Maintain the following user-specific variables in the planning area Sales Planning with Promotions (SU) (4TPM9000):
● Regional Account Manager (BPRACMGR)
● Sales Area (OACCMGR)
Maintain fixed values for the following variables to determine periods:
● Plan year (PLANYEAR)
● Previous year (PREVYEAR)
Make sure that the following variables are maintained with the required fixed values:
● Approved version (APVERS) with fixed value AP_APPR
● Released version (CPVERS) with fixed value CP_FREE
Make the following settings in Customizing for SAP CRM:
...
1. Choose Customer Relationship Management ® Marketing ® Marketing Planning and Campaign Management ® Key Figure Planning ® Version Management ® Define Version, and define versions AP_APPR and CP_FREE.
2. Choose Customer Relationship Management ® Marketing ® Marketing Planning and Campaign Management ® General Settings ® Define Status Schema for User Status, and define a status schema for controlling the release of the planning data to the account plan in the trade promotion.
3. Choose Customer Relationship Management ® Marketing ® Marketing Planning and Campaign Management ® Key Figure Planning ® Version Management ® Define Version for System Status, and define the version AP_APPR for the user status you defined, and the version CP_FREE for the system status Released.
You copy actual data from the previous year and the current year from the planning area 4TPM3000 (InfoCube 0CP_SLSC7) to the planning area 4TPM8000 (InfoCube 0CP_SLSCA).
The planning of trade promotions and the planning for key accounts use different time periods. You therefore have to convert the time periods. To do this, you can use the planning sequence Weeks ® Fiscal Periods (4TPM9711) in the planning level Convert Time Periods (4TPM9700) in SAP BI-BPS. We recommend that you schedule the planning sequence regularly.
