Creating the Employee Profile 
You create the employee profile by entering the employee’s general information used by IC WFM on the Employee Maintenance: Profile page.

1. When logged into the Interaction Center Manager’s Portal, select Workforce Management à Employee Maintenance à Profile to enter the employee’s IC WFM general information.

Displays the employee’s employment classification based on the Default Settings Group and is typically Full Time, Part Time or Temporary. |

Pay Type |
Inherited from Default Setting Group |
Displays the employee’s pay type (how an employee’s pay is categorized) based on the Default Settings Group and is typically either Hourly or Salaried. IC WFM uses the pay type information to determine the least cost schedule. |

The employee’s unique internal employee or payroll number. |

Defaulted to the value based on the Default Settings Group to regulate planned cost estimation for such things as overtime pay, holiday pay and premiums for working Sundays. When necessary, you can change this value from the default. IC WFM uses the pay class information to determine the least cost schedule. |

The Hire Date must be earlier than or equal to the Start Date. The default is the starting date of the current schedule week (displayed in the As of field). This field is required. An employee is not scheduled prior to his or her Hire Date. |

The Start Date must be earlier than the Termination Date. The Start Date can equal the Hire Date. An employee is not scheduled prior to his or her Start Date. |

Six character numeric field optionally used to group and reorder employees for reporting purposes. |

The employee’s date of birth. |

Termination Date |

Left blank until needed to indicate that an employee has been terminated and is no longer available for scheduling as of this date. The first full week after the termination date, all shifts for the employee are removed, the employee becomes unavailable and is no longer displayed for scheduling in future weeks. |

Information acquired from the CRM Business Partner is read only and appears in fields with blue backgrounds.
2. Click Save.
You have entered the IC WFM specific employee profile information.
