Sales Quotation and Order Analysis in ERP 

Purpose

You use this support function to evaluate sales quotations and sales orders in SAP ERP Central Component (SAP ECC). Thus you can monitor the sales transactions that have taken place in your organization at a detailed level.

Process Flow

       1.      System provides sales quotation data (SAP ECC)

       2.      System provides sales order data (SAP ECC)

       3.      System updates sales quotation and sales order data (SAP BW)

SAP ECC updates the data on sales quotations and orders into SAP Business Information Warehouse (SAP BW).

      4.      Determine Quotation Success Rate for Customer (SAP BW)

You use this data to determine the quotation success rate, that is, how many orders resulted from quotations for a specific customer. To do this, use the query Quotation Success Rate for Customer (technical name: 0SD_C05_Q0005).

       5.      Determine Quotation Success Rate by Sales Area (SAP BW)

You use these figures to determine the quotation success rate, that is, how many orders resulted from quotations in a specific sales area. To do this, use the query Quotation Success Rate by Sales Area (technical name: 0SD_C05_Q0006).

       6.      Execute Customer-Related Quotation Tracking (SAP BW)

You use the query Customer-Related Quotation Tracking (technical name: 0SD_C05_Q0004) to determine how many quotations were rejected by individual customers.

       7.      Execute Quotation Tracking by Sales Area (SAP BW)

You use the query Quotation Tracking by Sales Area (technical name: SD_C05_Q0002) to determine how many quotations were rejected in specific sales areas.

       8.      Determine Incoming Orders per Calendar Year and Month (SAP BW)

You use the query Incoming Orders per Calendar Year and Month (technical name: 0SD_C01_Q011) to report in detail incoming orders per year and calendar month.

       9.      Determine Sales Order-, Delivery-, and Revenue Quantities (SAP BW)

You use the query Sales Order-, Delivery-, and Revenue Quantities (technical name: 0SD_C03_Q010) to analyze sales order-, delivery-, and revenue quantities.

   10.      Product Analysis (SAP BW)

You use the query Product Analysis (technical name: 0SD_C01_Q021) to analyze your company’s products by revenue, costs, and contribution margin.
