BackgroundRates from SAP CRM and Planning at the Target Group Level

 

To configure condition generation optimization if the origin of the condition rates is SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) and planning is done at the target group level, make the following settings in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under   Master Data   Conditions and Condition Technique   Condition Technique: Basics   Create Access Sequences  .

If All of the Following Is True

Then

In Customizing, you defined a condition table that contains the Sold-To-Party field.

The same discount amount will apply to all business partners of the target group.

The conditions will be generated at the business partner level.

When condition rates come from SAP CRM and planning is done at the target group level, condition generation at the business partner hierarchy node level is not supported.

  • For short-term pricing conditions, the Campaign field is always part of the condition table in Customizing. Since the condition table contains only one multiple-value field, exception products can be added to the trade promotion and condition generation will be optimized.

  • For long-term conditions, the Campaign field is never part of the condition table. Since the condition table does not contain any multiple-value fields, exception products can be added to the trade promotion. However, for long-term planning, condition generation is never optimized.

In Customizing, you have defined a condition table that contains the Target Group field.

The same discount amount can be specified for all business partners of the target group.

The conditions will be generated at target group level.

Do not use these Customizing settings for the rebate (BO) usage.

 
  • For short-term pricing conditions, the Campaign field is always part of the condition table in Customizing. Since the condition table contains two multiple-value fields, exception products cannot be added to the trade promotion and condition generation cannot be optimized.

  • For long-term conditions, the Campaign field is never part of the condition table. Since the condition table contains only one multiple-value field, exception products can be added to the trade promotion. However, for long-term planning, condition generation is never optimized.

In Customizing, you have defined a condition table that does not contain the business partner level.

The same discount amount will apply to all business partners and business partner hierarchy nodes of the target group.

The business partner level will not be included in the condition records.

  • For short-term pricing conditions, the Campaign field is always part of the condition table in Customizing. Since the condition table contains only one multiple-value field, exception products can be added to the trade promotion and condition generation will be optimized.

  • For long-term conditions, this is not supported.
