Recalculating a Forecast 

Use

The Update Forecast button is used to save your adjustments to the indicator forecasts, and to apply those changes to the workload.

 

Activities

Once you have completed your changes click Update Forecast:

·        IC WFM saves your changes and begins to recalculate the workload.

·        You are positioned at the Calculation Status page where you can monitor the calculation process. See Calculation Status Page for more information.

Once the forecast calculation is complete, you can review your final workload on the Workload page. See Workload Page for more information.

If you click on the Update Forecast button without making any changes to indicator values, IC WFM nevertheless recalculates the workload using current values.

If you leave this page without clicking on the Update Forecast button first, any changes you made to indicator values will be lost. Furthermore, IC WFM does not warn you that leaving the page will result in losing your changes.
