ProcedureSettings for Financing Products

 

The product hierarchy and the related categories specify which set types and attributes are available for a product.

For the Leasing scenario you use the product type 07, FS Products and the product hierarchy BASE_FS. This is assigned to the item object type BUS2000301.

Procedure

  1. In the CRM system, create the base hierarchy for FS.

    Before the system generates the hierarchy and the categories, you can adjust these to meet your requirements. Unlike physical objects, you can have the system automatically generate the entire hierarchy for financing products and options. The system generates a base hierarchy for products of the product type 07, FS Products.

    Note Note

    The hierarchy is created in the CRM system only.

  2. Check whether a storage form exists for the product ID (transaction COMCPRFORMAT or SM30, table COMC_PR_FORMAT).

    If no storage form exists, you create this by entering the maximum input/output length of the product ID. This is the length in which the user sees the product ID.
