BackgroundSettings for Key Figure Planning (SAP CRM)

 

If you want to plan trade promotions in detail on the Planning assignment block, you need to maintain settings in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management, by choosing   Trade Promotion Management   Key Figure Planning   as well as your settings in Business Planning and Simulation (BI-BPS).

Prerequisites

You have:

  • Maintained the required settings in BI-BPS.

  • Assigned traffic lights to the planning profile groups

    Additionally, you can assign the traffic lights that you defined in SAP SEM-BPS, to planning profile groups in Customizing in Customer Relationship Management under   Marketing   Marketing Planning and Campaign Management   Key Figure Planning   Define Planning Profile Groups   Definition of Planning Profile Groups   Assignment of Traffic Lights

  • Defined trade spends for values

    You do this In Customizing for CRM, by choosing   Trade Promotion Management   Trade Promotions   Trade Spends   Define Trade Spends for Values  .

    Define the spend category under Trade Spend Category Maintenance. In the standard system, Customizing contains the following settings:

    You can then:

    • Choose a trade spend type and spend category and define spend methods, take rates and OI Cap key figures.

    • Define a relationship between the spend type, spend category, and spend method and the related volume and key figures

    • Relate a date range to trade spend combination that can be used in trade promotion planning.

    • Create a relationship between a spend type and spend category and a discount method.

Assignment of Planning Profiles to Planning Profile Groups

The standard system contains the planning profile groups 4TG1, 4TG2, 4TP1, 4TP2 , 4TP3, 4TP4, 4TPH, and 4TPM for planning deals and trade promotions.

If you use the planning content from BI-BPS that is defined especially for trade promotions, ensure that the following assignment of planning profiles to these planning profile groups has been made. You do this in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management by choosing   Trade Promotion Management   Key Figure Planning   Define Planning Profile Groups  .
