Setting Up Package Product Explosion 

Use

When using packages in the provider Web shop, you can set up your system to automatically explode package components in the product detail page.

 

Prerequisites

●      You have created package products in  SAP CRM and included them in your product catalog

●      You have indexed your catalog to the TREX index server

●      You have set up a customer application configuration based on the SAP application configuration B2CTELCOCRMSTANDARD in Extended Configuration Management (XCM) and a Provider Web shop in the Shop Management application

Procedure

You can determine whether a package explosion is automatically carried out by the system, when the solution configurator is called, or if the customer carries out manually using the Update Selection button:

      1.      Log on to http://<server:port>/b2c/admin/xcm/init.do.

      2.      Choose Start ® Components ® webcatalog ® webcatdefault.

      3.      Set the parameter Catalog.Package.AutomaticExplosion to True for automatic explosion, and to False for manual explosion of a package.
