Forecast Parameters Page 

You access this page by selecting Workforce Management ®Forecasting ® Forecast Parameters from within the Interaction Center Manager’s portal to submit information into IC WFM to generate a forecast. Forecasts must be performed for the entire organization. Using this page, you:

·        Assemble like indicator groups into collections

Indicator groups are:

¡        Generated during configuration

¡        Sets of similar indicators that will have the same forecast parameters applied to them.

You organize indicator groups into collections on the Forecast Parameters page where you:

¡        See indicator groups listed in the indicator groups column for the org unit and date selected for the forecast.

¡        Must assign all indicator groups to one or more collections before you can submit a forecast request.

¡        Can either add one or more indicator groups to a collection or set up a collection for each indicator group.

The system uses the forecast date and org unit either from your selections on the Forecast Parameters page or it takes them from the forecast template.

 

·        Pick weighted history weeks and percentage changes for the collection

When you apply forecast parameters to collections:

¡        All indicators in the collection will have the same parameters

¡        Criteria is based on the forecasted week

¡        Parameters for the week include:

§         Weeks

§         Weighting of weeks

§         Percentage-change values
