Determining IPC Characteristics in the Web Shop 

Use

You can now display the IPC characteristics of your choices for products in the product item details in the shopping basket and in the order confirmation. This means that you can display different characteristics in each area.

 

Procedure

In your ERP system cre...

       1.      In your R/3 system create organizational areas for characteristic display and assign them to characteristics and characteristic classes. You create organizational areas in Customizing under Cross-Application Components ® Classification System ® Classes ® Maintain Object Types and Class Types.

       2.      Log on to Extended Configuration Management (XCM) for your B2B and B2C Web shops at:

http://<server:port>/b2b(b2c)/admin/xcm/init.do.

Select Start ® General ® Components ® ui and adjust the following parameters:

¡        configinfo.order.view (shopping basket)

Enter the organizational area that you created in step 1 for characteristic display in the shopping basket.

¡        configinfo.orderdetail.view (order confirmation)

Enter the organizational area that you created in step 1 for characteristic display in the order confirmation.
