Integrating User Roles in SAP NetWeaver
Portal 
SAP CRM 2007 integrates the CRM WebClient UI into SAP NetWeaver Portal. Every CRM application is displayed on its own Web page. You can generate portal content by using the role upload function.
You have installed SAP CRM 2007 or performed an upgrade to this release.
To use your existing account origination user roles in the portal:
1. Adapt your CRM user roles to SAP CRM 2007 and make the necessary Customizing settings.
2. Check your user roles in SAP CRM 2007.
3. Install SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.00 (2004s) or perform an upgrade to this release, and connect SAP CRM 2007 to the portal.
4. Export your CRM user roles to an XML file and import this file into the portal.
5. Check your generated portal role in the portal.

If your user role does not work in the portal, check whether you have performed steps 1 and 4 correctly.
