Configuring Auction Settings in Shop Management 

Use

In shop management, you can define the sales transaction types for quotations and orders, and the condition type for auction winning prices.

Prerequisites

See Configuration of Web Auctions: Auctioning via Web Shop ® Prerequisites.

Procedure

       1.      Log on to shop management at:

http://<servername:port>/shopadmin/

       2.      Select the B2B Web shop in which you want to publish your auction.

       3.      On the Auction tab page, select the Auctions Allowedindicator.

       4.      Enter values for the following fields:

¡        Order type for auctions

¡        Quotation type for auctions

¡        Condition type for price of won auctions

Result

When you log on to the B2B Web shop, you see the published auction and can place bids.

The auctioning via Web shop application and B2B Web shop use the settings in shop management to create a quotation to reserve inventory, and to create an order for delivery and other processes such as billing and shipping.
