Use

Use this procedure to create a commission contract.

 

Procedure

From the SAP Menu of the Commission System, select the following path to create a commission contract:

Master Data à Commission Contract à Create

You must create one commission contract for every commission contract partner for which you intend to calculate commissions. For the CRM-ICM interface, only one commission contract can exist for a commission contract partner.

These steps provide an example of how to create a commission contract:

       1.      At Number Assignment, enter the internal assignment for the number range interval created earlier in the configuration process, for example “01.”

       2.      At ComnContPart., enter in the number of the commission contract partner that was set up using business partner type 9001 for Sales Manager.

As described above, the Sales Representative and Agent have different contract types. The process described in this section is similar for Representatives and Agents.

       3.      At Effective Date, enter the date in which you wish the commission contract to take effect.

       4.      At Std.Contr.No.:, enter a search using “901” as the contract type for Sales Manager and select “90100” for standard Sales Manager. Click Enter.

       5.      Click This graphic is explained in the accompanying text, the Staff Assignment button.

       6.      At Staff Assignt, enter “s.”

       7.      Position your cursor in the StassAssgt, field and press F4. Then, select Sales Manager from the drop down list

       8.      Double click on the appropriate staff assignment and click Enter.

       9.      Click on the green check mark icon. This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

   10.      Click on the Performance-Related Remun. Tab.

   11.      Position your cursor in the Standard Agreement field and press F4. Then, select an agreement created earlier in the configuration process, for example “000000009201”.

You can select the agreement and in the bottom portion of the screen individualize the remuneration calculation.

   12.      If you are not using incentives, continue at the next step. If you are using additional commission cases (incentives), click on the Trigger Commission Case tab and enter the information.

   13.      Click on the Global Agreement tab and review the Valuations.

Commission contracts are only available for use in commission calculations after they have been activated.

   15.      Click This graphic is explained in the accompanying text to save once you have completed your entries.

 

Result

You have created a commission contract.
