Use

Use this procedure to define the default operating hours. Default operating hours are the time ranges during which the location is open for business, and apply on all days except those defined as holidays, or days with special operating hours.

       1.      You access the activity either through

¡        The SAP IMG, by choosing the path SAP IMG ® Customer Relationship Management ® Workforce Deployment ® Retail and Interaction Center Workforce Deployment ® Operational Settings ® Define Default Operating Hours

¡        The SAP Easy Access menu, by entering the transaction code CRM_WFM_SM.

You see the initial page for the site maintenance.

                                                  i.       At Profile Type, display the selections and choose Operational Settings / Parameters.

                                                ii.       At Sub-Type, display the selections and choose Default Operating Hours.

                                               iii.       Choose Search.

                                               iv.       Click Default Operating Hours, the topmost node of the tree, with the secondary mouse button and choose Create.

You see the Create New Parameter dialog box.

                                                 v.       Enter a Profile ID, which is the name of the default operating hours definition the system displays in the tree view.

                                               vi.       Enter a date defining the first day for which the default operating hours definition is valid.

                                              vii.       Choose Continue.

       2.      You see the Operating Hours key table where you begin defining default operating hours by entering the following information:

Operating Hours ID

The unique identifier for the default operating hours definition you entered at the Create New Parameter dialog box.

 

Start Date

Displays the Start Date you entered at the Create New Parameter dialog box.

 

End Date

The last day of the validity period for the operating hours definition.

Enter 12/31/9999 to define an open-ended validity period. The system considers the validity period for the operating hours definition to be the range defined by the Start Date and End Date. The End Date must be later than the Start Date. The validity range must not contain any gaps.

Short Description

A short description of the operating hours definition.

The system uses this for any displays or drop down lists.

Long Description

A detailed description of the operating hours definition.

 

       3.      Save your entries and choose the record you just saved.

       4.      You see the Operating Hours Data table.

       5.      Choose New Entries.

       6.      Complete your operating hours definition by defining start and end times for each day of the week. Choose the Closed field for any day in which the location is not open for business.

       7.      Save your entries.

 

Result

You have defined the default operating hours and can assign them to your location. For more information, see Assign Parameter Settings to Locations.
