Example: Assignment of
Condition Types, Value Fields & Key Figures 
Use
In the SAP Trade Promotion Management Business Scenario, you must assign condition types and value fields from SAP ECC and key figures from SAP BI to each other.
Prerequisites
...
● You have maintained the necessary condition types in SAP ECC.
You can find further information under Condition Maintenance.
● You have activated the required Business Content in SAP BI.
For more information, see Activate Business Content.
● You have created a DataSource in SAP ECC for transferring data from Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) to SAP BI and replicated this DataSource in SAP BI.
For more information, see Settings for Transaction Data.
Activities
● Assign the condition types to the appropriate CO-PA value fields.
To do this, in Customizing for SAP R/3 Controlling, choose Controlling ® Profitability Analysis ® Master Data ®Valuation ® Define Conditions and Costing Sheets ® Assign Value Fields.
● Assign the CO-PA value fields to appropriate key figures for SAP BI.
To do this, in SAP BI assign the DataSource you created for transferring data from CO-PA to the InfoSource 0CO_PA_4, and create the transfer rules.

Note that in this example the costs for free goods are calculated from the list price and not from the production costs.
