In full service leasing business, you need to define service contract products as well as service products and materials.

Prerequisites

You have entered R3PRODSTYP as the standard hierarchy for service products.

If you are using the predefined set types for the tire service and fuel card, you have defined a category for each product type that contains the following set types:

  • CRM_FSL_FUEL (Fuel Card Service) and CRM_FSL_FUEL2 (Fuel Card Administrative Data)

  • CRM_FSL_TIRE (Tire Service)

Procedure

Create a service product as follows:

  1. In CRM product maintenance, create a product master with the category Service.

  2. Use the following categories:

    • SRV_PROD_LAM for service contract and job codes.

    • Select the corresponding categories for the service contract products Tire Service and Fuel Card.

  3. Use the following item category groups:

    • Item category group for job codes: SRVP (Service Product)

    • Item category group for spare parts: SRVM (Service Material)

    • Item category group for service contract: SVCP (Service Contract Product)

    • Item category group for quantity: TSRQ (Tire Release)

  4. Enter the service relationships as well as the physical products that can be assigned to the service.

Result

You have created a service contract product that you can use in a lease, as well as service products for service documents.
