Making Single Segment Forecast
Adjustments
You can use the tables at the bottom of the page to adjust a forecast on a segment-by-segment basis.
You set the granularity you want to view at the Segment Tables within the Granularity drop-down list.

You can “roll up” to larger granularities but you cannot explode a default granularity to one smaller than that at which it was defined. For example, an indicator defined at a granularity of 30 minutes can roll up to 1 hour and a day but cannot be set at 15 minutes.
Data displayed on the graph is also displayed in a tabular format below the graph within the segment tables. The segment table displays:
· The date for which the adjustments are being made.
· The indicator for which the adjustments are being made.
· Rows for Actual, Forecasted, Adjusted and % Change information for each segment. You can make changes to the Adjusted and % Change values.
The segments correspond to the volume indicator granularity. See Volume Indicator Granularity for more information. You use these tables to adjust a forecast on a segment-by-segment basis.
Use the time and day buttons to access the segments for the selected granularity. You can make forecast adjustments to each segment individually either by entering a percent change or by replacing the forecast for any time segment with a value you choose.
At the cell that corresponds to the segment you want to adjust, enter either a value in the:
· %CHG box that represents the percent change.
· Adjusted box that represents the number of units you want to change.

At the Day granularity, you also have an option to enter a single entry in the Total column that is spread across all days of the week.
Click Apply once you have entered your information. The forecast graph is redrawn with a new line representing your adjusted forecast. You can readjust the forecast as many times as required.
The system also automatically calculates a value and fills in the other box for that segment. That is, if you enter a percentage adjustment, the system automatically calculates a new value and fills the Adjusted box with it. Conversely, if you enter a new value directly, the system automatically calculates the corresponding percentage change the new value represents, and fills the %CHG box with it.
