Shift logs document the plant’s operations and product processes thus fulfilling legal documentation requirements. the seamless integration with maintenance and operations processes, you can use the information from the shift log at the same time as optimizing these processes.
Define the organizational units for which you want to keep shift logs.
The business process runs as follows:
1. Create shift note
Anyone working in a shift can create a shift note. The shift note contains information on an event that has taken place in that shift and needs to be documented. The shift note is always assigned to an organisational unit in a company and can reference detailed documents such as a confirmation or a maintenance notification.
2. Create shift report
At the end of a shift, the shift manager creates a shift report. The shift report contains all relevant information for a shift, such as the created shift notes and notifications or the processed orders and confirmations. You save the shift report as a document in the system where it can be quickly accessed, checked and countersigned.
3. Sign shift report
If your shift report contains items with special requirements for authenticity or tracability, you can have the shift manager sign the report electronically. During change of shifts, the manager of the following shift can check and countersign the report from the previous shift.
The saved shift reports serve as a history of the plant’s operation or production processes and can be access at any time.
