Assigning the Launch Transaction to an Account Toolbar Item

To enable your SAP CRM system to resolve the account reference that you included as a parameter in your launch transaction for accessing business-on-behalf Web shops (BoB shops), you have to attach your launch transaction to a user interface element that is associated with an account at any one time

We recommend that you attach the launch transaction to the item with the standard label Order-on-behalf in the work area toolbar of the account overview page of the CRM WebClient UI for the CHM-PM (Partner Manager) business role.

Prerequisites

You have performed the steps in Defining a Parameterized Launch Transaction.

Procedure

In your SAP CRM system, perform the following steps in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under UI Framework Technical Role Definition Definition Navigation Bar Profile :

In the Define Logical Links subdialog, create a new logical link or select an existing one and assign your launch transaction to it by defining the details of the logical link as follows:
- In the Type field, select the Launch Transaction option.
- In the Target ID field, enter or select EXECLTX.
- In the Parameter field, enter or select the name of the launch transaction that you defined in Defining a Parameterized Launch Transaction.
- In the Parameter Class field, enter or select CL_CRM_UI_LTX_NAVBAR_PARAM.
Note
The standard delivery of SAP CRM offers the CHM-OOB-CR logical link as a logical link to which you can assign your BoB shop launch transaction.

If you follow our recommendation to attach your BoB shop launch transaction to the Order-on-behalf work area toolbar item, you must assign your launch transaction to the CHM-OOB-CR logical link. This is because you cannot assign a logical link other than CHM-OOB-CR to the Order-on-behalf work area toolbar item later on in this configuration procedure.

In the Define Profile subdialog, select the navigation bar profile of the business role for which you want to configure a work area toolbar item with your parameterized launch transaction for BoB shop access.

Note
The standard delivery of SAP CRM offers the Order-on-behalf work area toolbar item in the CHM-PM business role for BoB shop access.

This means that the standard delivery allows you to configure that work area toolbar item in the navigation bar profile of the CHM-PM business role.

You can find the navigation bar profile of a business role in the details of that business role in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under Business Roles Define Business Role . The navigation bar profile that the standard delivery assigns to the CHM-PM business role is the CHM-PARTNERMANAGER navigation bar profile.

In the Define Generic OP Mapping subdialog for the selected navigation bar profile, select the row that contains the object type and object action of the work area toolbar item that you want to configure.

Note
The object type for the Order-on-behalf work area toolbar item on the account overview page for the CHM-PARTNERMANAGER navigation bar profile is BT115_SLSO_OOB, and the object action for this work area toolbar item is Create.

In the details of the selected row, make the following settings:
1. Select the Use Link ID radio button.
2. In the Logical Link ID field, enter or select the ID of the logical link to which you assigned your launch transaction.
3. In addition, enter or select the ID of that logical link in the Highlighted Link ID field.
4. Save your settings.
Note
In the standard delivery of SAP CRM, the row with the BT115_SLSO_OOB object type and the Create object action already has the CHM-OOB-CR logical link in both the Logical Link ID field and the Highlighted Link ID field. These entries are write-protected.

If you want to change the label of the work area toolbar item that is labeled Order-on-behalf in the standard delivery of SAP CRM, launch the SOTR_EDIT transaction, enter CRM_UIU_BT_LEAD/TOORDEROB in the Alias field, and click the Change pushbutton.
