Easy Enhancement Workbench for Counters and Readings 

Purpose

You can use the Easy Enhancement Workbench to include new fields for counters and readings in the interfaces for the entry of counters/readings in business transactions.

Process Flow

●      To include new counter fields, select the business object COUNTERS and the extension type MPOINT.

●      To include new counter fields, select the business object COUNTERS and the extension type READING.

Technical Implementation

Fields that you add using the Easy Enhancement Workbench are added to the database tables CRMD_MPK_MPOINT and CRMD_MPK_READING, as well as the work structures CRMT_MPK_MPOINT_WRK and CRMT_MPK_READING_WRK.

Postprocessing

You need to make further modifications to display the additional fields, using the following interfaces:

●      Meter management

●      Interfaces for the assignment of counters to installed base components and individual objects in the master data

●      To display new fields in the CRM WebClient, you need to make them visible in the configuration of the appropriate components (BTCOUNTER and MTCOUNTER).
